Join Saint John’s Prep as we present Fiddler on the Roof March 20-22 at the in downtown St. Cloud, MN. Fiddler on the Roof is set in the little village of Anatevka, Russia in 1905. The show centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof‘s universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

Fiddler on the Roof is based on the book Tevye and his Daughters股票如何做t解套 by Sholem Aleichem. The story centers on Tevye and his attempts to maintain his Jewish religious and cultural traditions as outside influences intrude upon their home and culture. The three oldest daughters are very stubborn and wish to marry for love. Tevye wishes they each would marry a traditional man, but these strong young women have other men in mind!

Fiddler’s songs include hits like “Matchmaker, Matchmaker” and “Sunrise, Sunset.” With great music and fast-paced dance numbers, this production is sure to be a hit on the stage!

This production of Fiddler on the Roof will be directed by Brandon Anderson with musical direction from Jeff Engholm.

Join Saint John’s Prep alumni, parents and friends for a spring gathering at the Washington D.C. home of Prep Parent Ree Rinn. Head of School Jon McGee will share a Prep School update while guests enjoy a casual evening together. Refreshments and appetizers will be served.
股票如何做t解套 Ree and †Scott Rinn are the parents of Jack ’06, Natalie ’01 and Alexander ’99. Prior to his death, Scott was a member of the Prep School faculty, teaching Social Studies, coaching golf, and serving as the advisor for the Mock Trial team. Ree and her husband, Dennis McKearin, are excited to host Saint John’s Prep parents, alumni and friends.

The gathering will be in the lounge of the Kennedy–Warren Building. The K-W is a historic Art Deco apartment building located near the National Zoological Park and Klingle Valley Park. Parking is very limited in the area.* Our hosts recommend taking the Metro’s Red Line to reach the building. The address is almost exactly between the Red Line’s Woodley Park/Zoo/Adams Morgan and Cleveland Park stops. Both stops are about a 10-minute walk from the K-W Building.

*A very limited number of parking spaces are available in the K-W Building for a small fee. Contact Aaron Miller to check availability of parking.

Join us for this exciting fundraising event when we celebrate Brazil! This entertaining celebration helps raise money for student programs and scholarships. This is a party for parents, grandparents, alumni/ae and friends to support Saint John’s Prep. The evening will include gourmet hors d’oevre stations, a Brazilian tasting menu, live music and energetic live & silent auctions. This exciting event brings together more than 240 people and raisess over $120,000 for Saint John’s Prep.

A Grand Tour of Nations Raffle

股票如何做t解套Take part in an exciting raffle that could give you the vacation trip of your dreams! The grand prize is a travel voucher valued at $10,000 from Bursch Travel. Saint John’s Prep will pay the taxes for the grand prize winner, so the actual value is $13,333!

We are selling a limited number of tickets – 350 at $100/ticket. Tickets go on sale in January.
Tickets may be purchased with cash or check only. Ticket issued upon payment. Proceeds benefit Saint John’s Preparatory School.

The prize will be awarded in the form of a travel voucher issued by Bursch Travel, which can be used for alternative travel if desired. It’s time to make plans to return to Saint John’s Prep for our All School Reunion 2020. We’re excited to welcome back our alumni and families for this weekend of friendship and fun. Plan to join us June 12-14 in Collegeville. There are several events listed below and others will be added as we get closer to the event.

Friday, June 12
Individual Class Events (let us know your plans and we’ll share them!)

    • 5:30 pm Twin Towers Dinner and Social in SJU Quad 170
      *This will include the induction ceremony for the Class of 1970. Twin Towers members and their guests are welcome to attend this event. After dinner, the room is reserved for the Class of 1970 for an evening of remembrances and celebrations.
      The Twin Towers Club is for all alumni who graduated 50 years ago or longer. If you graduated before 1970 and have not been a part of the ceremony and received your hat, please contact us! 
    • Individual Class Events: Friday night is an ideal night to get together with your classmates. Whether you meet on campus, in St. Cloud or in the Twin Cities, let us know of your plans! We’re happy to help you share the details with your classmates.

股票如何做t解套 We’re proud to offer three recommendations for housing for reunion weekend. A very limited number of rooms are available at the Saint John’s Abbey Guest House, located next to the main Prep building. Call 320-363-2573 for availability.

Our grounds will serve as inspiration for creating scenic and fun projects. Campers will explore the world of art while exploring some of the 2,700 acres of Saint John’s picturesque woods and lakes. Daily art activities include watercolor painting, drawing, printmaking, papermaking, photography, plaster casting and more!

Besides art projects, other adventures include swimming, canoeing and hiking. This is an action-packed camp filled with fun! Lunch each day at the is included in the price of this camp.

This camp runs from 8:30 a.m.-4:00p.m. each day.
